David is a civil litigator and legal advisor with a background in politics and policy. He served as a White House speechwriter to President Donald J. Trump, a Senior Policy Advisor for health care and financial regulation to Maine Governor Paul LePage, and in communications roles for the Maine Legislature and Department of Health and Human Services.
David has testified before legislative committees, drafted legislation and regulations, and provided interviews to national and local television, radio, and print media outlets. His campaign experience includes gubernatorial, congressional, and state legislative races.
David received his J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law, where he served as Articles Editor of the Maine Law Review and President of the Federalist Society. He received his B.A. in History from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh. He is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts.
David lives on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, where he enjoys boating and fishing.
